Our first update of 2026 makes some of your favorite features easier to access, simpler to use, and more detailed when navigating.
Easier to Access Voice Training Notes
We've made voice training notes even easier to access, so you can quickly record details about your session, even if you're exhausted. Every COROS watch with a microphone* will now allow you to record voice training notes with a quick press of the Action Button directly from the main workout summary screen.

*PACE 4, APEX 4, and COROS NOMAD each are equipped with microphones.
Clearer Map Details on DURA
We’ve updated maps on DURA to clearly distinguish between paved roads and dirt trails. Now, you’ll always know exactly what surface is coming up next, so there are no surprises when the pavement ends and gravel begins.

Before | After
Better Organized Lap Summary Table
Think of your workout data like a messy toolbox—it’s much more effective when the right tools are right on top. We’ve refreshed Lap Tables in the COROS app to make your summaries more organized.
- Workout Focus: Filter structured runs to show only your active reps, cutting out the "noise."
- Strength Sets: Your gym sessions are now grouped by exercise, making it simple to track your progress through every set.

Training Plan Updates
We’ve added new flexibilities to your COROS training schedule to match your real-world timing:
- Plan Ahead: You can now set a start date for any plan up to two years in the future.
- Jump Right In: If you aren’t starting from week 1, choose specifically where you want to start your plan.
- No Clutter: If you start at Week 3, the app automatically hides the earlier weeks, keeping your view focused only on the work ahead.

And plenty more.
- VO2Max added to your Running Fitness widget on the watch.
- Your Running Fitness metrics are now more responsive to your training.
- Strength mode updates and optimizations, including:
- Improved input method for adding your rep weights.
- Calories burned available as a data page metric.
- Improved rep counting algorithm to more accurately track your reps.
- More activity modes can be manually imported to Training Hub in .FIT or .TCX format:
- Bouldering
- Indoor Climb
- GPS Cardio
- Gym Cardio
- Badminton
- Table Tennis
- Tennis
- Basketball
- Soccer
- Pickleball
- Sleep data transmits to TrainingPeaks.
- Hydration tracking from 3rd party platform AbsolutSweat.
- When navigating a route, the elevation profile page now only displays the Ascent Remaining on the route.

Why don't I see the update yet?
The update was released to iOS and Android app stores on January 28th on a rolling basis. Availability in the app stores is typically available to all devices globally within one week.
